The eight individually designed, well proportioned bedrooms are all en suite. With their own unique style and character, each room has a comfortable sitting area offering soothing rural views.

And apart from the usual facilities you might expect such as television, phone, tea, crisp linen, comfy mattress, hairdryer, you will also find one or two little extra, caring touches… fresh cafetiere coffee, flowers, fresh fruit, classy Pecksniff toiletries, bathrobes…

Indulgent or healthy breakfasts are cooked to order using fine local ingredients such as farm eggs and sweet cured bacon; home made jams and marmalade, squeezed juices, Devon honeycomb, exotic fruit salad, local smoked fish.

Breakfast is served in the Plantation room, or out on the sunny terrace whenever possible, or perhaps, you may like to indulge in that well earned lie in and take advantage of our inclusive breakfast in bed service. Dinner is an experience.

The hotel has a large private car park for our guests to use. Also wellies and brollies..

Special occasions can be individually tailored, and if you looking for that special present, then gift vouchers are available, for dinner or an overnight stay, and can be sent anywhere in the world.

Small private business meetings can be catered for, and corporate rooms are available.
