The nine individually designed and well proportioned bedrooms are all en suite, some with delicious new bathrooms. Each with its own unique style and character, the rooms have comfortable sitting areas offering soothing views.

And it is the thoughtful attention to detail that makes all the difference; garden flowers, fruit and mineral water, cafetière coffee, tea and fresh milk, bathrobes, classy toiletries, warm bathroom floors and oh so comfy mattresses....

Breakfasts are traditional and indulgent, or continental and healthy but always prepared and cooked to order using fine local ingredients. Dry cured bacon, our own hens' eggs, homemade marmalade and jam, squeezed juices, freshly cut fruit salad, marinated Agen prunes, homemade muesli, warm croissants, Columbian coffee, leaf teas.

And whether served in our Plantation Room, out on the sunny front terrace or indulgently in bed, breakfast at Plantation House always has an edge.

Sophisticated barbecues are a regular feature during the hot season.

Dinner is an experience.

The hotel has a large private car park for our guest use.

The lovely walks start at the bottom of our drive, across the road, over the stile.
